Accredited training:
First-Aid at Work Requalification (HSE)
Introduction
This course is run over two days and allows for re-certification of First-Aid at Work qualified staff. By arrangement the course can be run on non-consecutive days, for example - one day a week over two weeks.
The criteria are the same as for the initial three-day course.
Suitable for:
All delegates that have successfully completed a full first-aid course within the previous three years.
All delegates attending this course must hold a valid First-Aid Certificate (not more than 28 days out of date) and produce it on the first day of the course.
Course objectives
To train and re-examine delegates in first aid techniques leading to the renewal of a Full Qualification First-Aid Certificate. Certificates are recognised for the purpose of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and valid for three years.
Duration
Two days
Exam Format
On the afternoon of the second day of training, a practical and an oral examination takes place. Each examination takes approximately 10 minutes.
100% attendance is required in order to be eligible for the examination.
