This is a basic course which complements the CIEH Foundation
Certificate in Health and Safety in the Workplace. It
seeks to provide both employees and managers with basic
knowledge about occupational stress and how it can be
managed.

Course objectives
By the end of the training delegates will know the basic
sources and causes of work-related stress, the range
of symptoms and effects that it can cause and the controls
that can be developed for work-related stressors.
Duration
Half day (minimum 4 hours)
Exam Format
No formal format. Course appraisal forms will be issued,
and managers are advised to supervise employees following
the training
