NEBOSH International Certificate

Introduction

The NEBOSH International Certificate provides organisations outside of the UK who seek to adopt an internationally recognised health and safety training programme. It is a unique international health and safety standard award and has a similar format to the UK's National General Certificate. However, it concentrates on internationally recognised health and safety standards and priorities (ILO/18001) and best practice in controlling hazards. PHSC go one step further by seeking to include any country-specific legislation in the course, so that delegates can understand both local, national, and wider international requirements for safety compliance.

Suitable for

All non UK nationals, employees of large organisations operating outside the UK, or multinational companies already working to international standards but needing to adapt these to accord with local needs and practice. It has been designed for personnel such as managers, supervisors, non-safety specialists, in fact anyone who has safety as one of their employment functions, including worker representatives.

This course is taught in English, and the examinations are also in the English language. Therefore any students must have at least an intermediate understanding of English.
