Brand new one day course IOSH Accident Investigation and Report Writing course is designed to provide an understanding of the legal, financial and moral reasons for investigating accidents and incidents at work, and how to complete an effective investigation to establish the root cause(s). Learners will also understand the information that should be included in an investigation report and how to write a concise investigation.

There is no specific legal requirement to investigate accidents, but an accident investigation report will always be asked by civil litigation lawyers when defending a compensation claim following an accident involving injury and often from insurers when investigating damage incidents.
