      What does the Fire Marshal / Warden Course cover?

      This course is designed to enhance your awareness of potential workplace risks, ranging from minor non-emergencies to critical emergencies. By the end of this course, you will be prepared to handle various challenges, ensuring a safer work environment for everyone.

      Course includes:

      • Fires in the home - the most common causes and smoke detector checklist
      • Fires in the workplace - the most common place
      • Fire Extinguishers - safe operation of exinguishers
      • The principles of Fire Marshalling - non-emergency responsibilites and emergency responsiblities
      • Methods of Evacuation - roll call, sweep system and baton system
      • Disabled procedures
      • Other evacuation considerations - doors and windows, coats and bags, lifts, unco-operative persons, assembly points, creches, dispersal (startbust) evacuation process and ongoing communication
      • Responsibilities of Fire Marshal - incident controller, deputy incident controller and floor, area stair and door Marshals
      • Fire prevention checklist - monitoring fire safety in your area of responsiblity

      Anyone who has the role of fire marshal and their deputies.

      The principles of fire marshalling cover the emergency and non-emergency roles dealing with fires in the workplace, and methods of evacuation, including the disabled.
