Our Healthcare Safety Management audit helps you identify if and where there are any significant gaps relating to HSE requirements and the CQC. Our audit integrates the Outcomes within the key  Domains with workplace health and safety,  food safety, and environmental management legislation. This gives you an integrated approach to risk management. It reduces duplication in your work processes and enables you to see where systems/resources can be linked;  a win/win situation.

Our audits give a qualitative score for overall compliance and by specific topic. You will have a qualitative baseline to work from, which you can use to monitor and measure your continuous improvement. If you prefer a more fluid approach we will audit without scoring and will agree on the key outputs you want to obtain from your audit. You get to choose what you need and would like and we will guide you in the best way to achieve it.

We have developed a specialist healthcare health and safety management course that is accredited by the UK’s leading professional institution – The Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH). IOSH-accredited courses are recognised by the CQC and the HSE. The key advantages of this training include:

• It integrates H&S legislation with Healthcare legislation and supports CQC compliance, avoiding duplication in systems
• It is bespoke to your profession and relates every subject to how H&S applies in healthcare settings
• You learn by problem-solving, using case studies that apply to your area of healthcare. This means you can have teams from different areas of care join the same course and still have relevant content (eg mental health, learning difficulty, residential care, etc).
• It is only 2 days long, rather than 3 or 4 days which is what is needed to complete the general IOSH Managing Safely course.
