This course is suited for newly appointed personnel whose work will regularly involve carrying out manual handling tasks. It is also ideal for other personnel, such as manual handling assessors or Health & Safety Co-ordinators, who wish to gain an understanding of safe lifting techniques.

By the end of the session, delegates will understand the hazards associated with lifting and carrying, and how to minimise the risk of injury. They will also be made familiar with the regulation requirements.

Half to One Day (depending on client requirements). The course can be customised to include company procedures, systems of work, etc. used within the organisation.
