The course will benefit anyone tasked with completing manual handling assessments and/or implementing controls, whether for the first time or to improve skills. This will typically include managers, supervisors and safety officers.

By the end of the session, delegates will understand the hazards associated with lifting and carrying and how to minimise the risk of injury. Delegates will also be familiar with the regulation requirements for assessment to ensure their and their colleagues' safety.
