      Stress Assessment for Managers

      What does the Stress Assessment for Managers Course cover?

      Managers frequently juggle numerous tasks and responsibilities; without proper monitoring, it’s easy to lose control. This course will help you identify these indicators and establish a stress-free working environment.

      • Identifying a stressed employee and stressors at work
      • Outline of company policy on stress
      • Overview of risk assessment process and how this applies to assessment of stress
      • Ongoing management and rehabilitation of an employee reporting stress
      • What is stress?
      • What is occupational stress?
      • Symptoms and recogintion of stress, including health risks
      • Undertaking a basic stress assessment at work (pratical workshop) - indetifying individuals / groups of workers, gather information (observation / documentation / discussion), assess findings, take action and keep records
      • Feedback and review from practical work
      • Identifying measures to reduce stress

      The training course is suitable for supervisors and managers who must manage health and safety issues as part of their general responsibilities.

      By the end of the training, the delegates will understand the key stressors at work and be familiar with common symptoms experienced by people suffering from stress. They will also understand the legal, financial and moral implications of occupational stress. They will be able to undertake a basic stress risk assessment in their own department or of an individual.
